Mila Kunis’ Marine Corps Ball Date: Actress Was ‘Down To Earth’

Posted in : Gossips, Movies

(added few months ago!)

Like her “Friends with Benefits” leading man Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis fit right in with the men and women at the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, North Carolina this past weekend. Following JT’s appearance at a Ball in Washington D.C. last week, Mila followed through with her promise to Sgt. Scott Moore and the lucky Marine appeared on Access Hollywood Live on Monday to share details from his exciting night with the actress.

Mila Kunis’ Marine Corps Ball Date Actress Was ‘Down To Earth’

“She looked very good,” he told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover. “I think all the gentlemen and ladies there were dressed to impress and she was definitely right along with that crowd. She looked very good.”

According to Sgt. Moore, the 28-year-old actress appeared to be quite comfortable with he and his fellow Marines. ”[I was surprised] just how down to earth she was. She’s just a normal person,” he said. “She was very interested in what the ball was all about.”

Sgt. Moore, who said there was some dancing and plenty of introductions throughout the night, wasn’t sure if he’d be able to take Mila out again. “She’s really busy shooting a movie right now. I’m pretty busy doing the Marine stuff, they keep me pretty busy,” he told Billy and Kit. “I’m sure we’ll stay in touch.”

The Marine, who started the ask-a-celebrity-to-the-Marine-Corps-Ball craze back in July, has his friends to thank – in part – for landing Mila as his date. “I kind of talked to my buddies about doing this for a while and one day we had an extra couple minutes and they called by bluff, they said, ‘Put up for shut up!’” he recalled. “So, I put up.”

Mila Kunis Made a Marine Happy by Coming as His Date

Posted in : Scandals

(added few months ago!)

Mila Kunis was a ball belle on Friday, November 18 night when she attended Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, North Carolina, with Sgt. Scott Moore. The "Black Swan" star made the Marine's dream come true by keeping her words to become his date after taking his invitation earlier this year.

Mila Kunis Made a Marine Happy by Coming as His Date

Marine spokesperson Capt. Scott Sasser told Access Hollywood that Kunis and Sgt. Moore were both "enjoying the night". Sasser added, "Everything went well. It was a great experience for everybody." Although closed off for the media, pictures from the ball emerged in courtesy of Cpl. Johnny Merkley. The actress wore an elegant black gown with her hair tied in a bun.

Moore's YouTube invitation for Kunis became a viral sensation back in July. He was serving his second combat deployment in Musa Qala, Afghanistan at that time. "Hey Mila, Sgt. Moore, but you can call me Scotty. I just want to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball with yours truly. So take a second to think about it and get back to me. All right, bye now," he said. To his amusement, Kunis accepted the invitation.

Kunis attended the event at the Greenville Convention Center with Sergeant Scott Moore, Access Hollywood reported. The event was closed to media. Moore invited Kunis to the soiree in a YouTube video posted in July, from a base in Afghanistan.

"Hey, Mila. It's Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott," he said in the video. "I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18 in Greenville, North Carolina, with yours truly. So take a second, think about it and get back to me."

A message left with Kunis's publicist in New York was not returned on Sunday. Their date took place less than a week after Kunis' "Friends with Benefits" co-star, Justin Timberlake, escorted a Marine Corps combat instructor to a ball in Richmond, Virginia.

Timberlake, who publicly encouraged Kunis to accept Moore's invitation, received a similar proposal soon afterward from Corporal Kelsey De Santis. On his website, the singer-turned actor called the November 12 Marine Corps Ball he attended with De Santis "one of the most moving evenings" of his life.

Mila Kunis Attends Marine Corps Ball In N.C.

(added few months ago!)

Mila Kunis Attends Marine Corps Ball In N.C.Justin Timberlake kept his promise – and so did his former “Friends with Benefits” co-star, Mila Kunis. Mila accompanied Sgt. Scott Moore to the Marine Corps Ball on Friday night in Greenville, North Carolina, according to several local news reports in Greenville.

The actress arrived into the Pitt-Greenville Airport around 2:30 PM local time on Friday and was quickly whisked to the Greenville Convention Center, the site of the ball. Local news station WNCT was able to capture a brief shot of Mila arriving to the venue before disappearing inside. CLICK HERE to see the photo!

No media were allowed inside the event, however, Marine spokesperson Capt. Scott Sasser said that Mila and Sgt. Moore were both “enjoying the night.”A rep for Mila was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access Hollywood. Back in July, Sgt. Moore asked Mila to be his date for the night via a YouTube proposal.

“Hey Mila. It’s Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott,” he said from a base in Afghanistan. “I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina, with yours truly. So take a second, think about it and get back to me.”

Mila accepted the offer of the Marine, whose unit recently returned from a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan. The unit reportedly lost seven members during the tour of duty.

Shortly after being invited to the Ball by Sgt. Moore, Mila’s “Friends with Benefits” leading man, Justin Timberlake, received his own YouTube invitation by Marine Cpl. Kelsey De Santis to attend another ball, which he attended last week. Following the event, Justin said it was one of the “most moving evenings I’ve ever had.”

His date, Cpl. De Santis, spoke to Access Hollywood about the big night and said her superstar date was a perfect gentleman. ”[I was surprised by] how genuine of a person he seems to be. He seems very selfless to me, so it was nice having him there. It was kind of like having one of our good friend’s at the table,” she told Access Hollywood Live’s Billy Bush and Kit Hoover on Tuesday. “He asked me a lot of questions about what I do and about me, which was really, really nice.”

Mila Kunis Gets Sexy GQ Award

Posted in : Awards, Gossips

(added few months ago!)

Mila Kunis is sexy and GQ knows it. So the men's magazine decided to give the Black Swan actress a special award: Knockout of the Year. And the reason this new title was bestowed upon the always appealing 28-year-old star?

Mila Kunis Gets Sexy GQ Award

Mila Kunis is "hot" and "funny" and "cool," says GQ, who also calls out the Friends with Benefits star for the fact that she "speaks fluent Russian" and that she is "a 'Family Guy' voice."

These all sound like valid reasons that made Mila hit her mark on the popular magazine, but there has to be more to the story than just those assets. Perhaps it's also her other, more personal assets that pushed the powers that be at GQ to give Kunis that particular punch of a prize.

With that being said and that award being given, how does Mila Kunis feel about herself and her time in the spotlight? The thespian says, "I love what I do, but my theory is that it's people who doubt what they do and want to prove it to you who are like [constantly saying], 'It's art. I create art. It's art, art, art.'"

But that's not the way for this creative chick. In fact, what and who she is is somewhat due to certain circumstances. Or at least that's what Mila claims. According to this popular performer, Kunis kind of fell into the business of show after moving from the Ukraine to Tinseltown with her parents who then needed someone to take care of their little girl.

As the movie star points out, "...there was this place advertised on the radio as a place to meet other kids—an acting class...[and since] my parents couldn't afford a babysitter, they said, 'Great, this takes up our Saturday.'"

And so, with Saturday covered, and with Mila Kunis able to grow up in the US surrounded by artsy pursuits, these days she still stays grounded while learning even more about what it is like to live and work in America. But it's not expressly Hollywood that entertains the newly named Knockout of the Year. It's New Jersey. Or at least the coast of the Garden State, and that influence is reflected in her choice of television fodder.

Said Kunis, "I'm someone else for 12 hours; I record 'Family Guy'; and then I get to go home and watch 'Jersey Shore.'"And so with Snooki, The Situation, and the rest of the MTV crew as inspiration and evening entertainment, Mila Kunis is just a regular Los Angeles girl. A regular Los Angeles girl who happens to have a remarkable career—and now a new title, too, thanks to GQ.

Mila Kunis gets interviewer drunk, claims it's healthy

Posted in : Gossips

(added few months ago!)

Ever since she laid a verbal smack down on a reporter in fluent Russian, Ukrainian-born Mila Kunis has been on a run that would make her ancestors do the Hopak. Her latest shenanigan involves a bottle of vodka and an ill GQ journalist.

Mila Kunis gets interviewer drunk, claims it's healthy

As part of their Men of the Year issue, the gentleman's magazine named the beauty their "Knockout of the Year" and sent writer Michael Idov to interview her. As Idov writes, he was having some throat issues when he met Kunis in her apartment in Detroit, where she's was shooting Oz: The Great and Powerful, Sam Raimi's prequel to The Wizard of Oz.

"Let's get some Cabernet going," the Chernovtsy, USSR-born actress told Idov after preparing some hot tea. "It'll make you feel better and it will make you drunk."After handing off the $50 Grgich Hills Cabernet Franc bottle to the journo, Kunis decided it was "perfect for boiling" and proceeded to pour some into a saucepan.

She then added green tea powder ("It's vitamins!"), apple cider vinegar, two gel caps of fish oil, and Ayurvedic chai, reports Idov. "I'll get wasted with you on this wine," the 28-year-old offered the ailing writer. Adding, "F--k it. It's good for you!"

Kunis then added hard liquor to the concoction, offering vodka and tequila before eventually settling on a bottle of Ketel One vodka, pouring half of it into their mugs. "There. Healthy! This will kill everything." The writer quotes her as saying.

Lucky for the men of the United States Marine Corps, Kunis has since turned her attention to matters beyond simply getting plastered around 8 Mile Rd. E! Online reports the Black Swan star is getting set to follow in the footsteps of her Friends with Benefits co-star and fellow GQ Men of the Year honouree Justin Timberlake by attending the Marine Corps Ball tomorrow in Greenville, N.C., on the arm of her invitee Sgt. Scott Moore.

"It's a huge honor just to be invited, it is," an assumedly sober Kunis told the website at a recent function. "[I'm looking forward to] talking to people and hearing their stories. Being a part of something that truly I know nothing about but I'm incredibly eager to learn."

Mila Kunis Named GQ Magazine's 'Knockout Of The Year'

Posted in : Modeling

(added few months ago!)

This past August, Mila Kunis featured on the cover of GQ magazine's annual comedy issue, and now the actress has been named the magazine's 'Knockout of the Year.'Mila has it all - she's sexy, funny, fluent in her native Russian, is a huge Star Trek geek, and even knows a cure for the common cold.

Mila Kunis Named GQ Magazine's 'Knockout Of The Year'

During her interview with GQ's Michael Idov - who was suffering from a severe cough and voice loss at the time - Mila revealed that she has her own cold remedy that always does the trick. She gathers together a bottle of Cabernet Franc, some green-tea powder, two fish oil gel caps, apple-cider vinegar, Ayurvedic chai, and vodka and boils it all in a sauce pan.

But while Mila takes her home remedies seriously, she isn't quite as serious about her craft. "I love what I do, but my theory is that it's people who doubt what they do and want to prove it to you," she says. "They're like 'It's art.

"I create art. It's art, art, art.' I'm like, Holy sh*t, are you f**king kidding me? I run around and pretend I'm someone else for twelve hours; I record Family Guy [she voices Meg]. Then I get to go home and watch Jersey Shore."And that home-made remedy she gave Idov?

"It's not bad," he writes. "In fact, it's great."Check out the rest of Mila's interview in the December issue of GQ, on newsstands nationwide November 22nd.
